The Banking Assets Resolution Agency (AVAS) said it had received four offers for taking over the machinery manufacturer Hidromecanica Brasov after the first privatization attempt this year failed as the offers did not meet the requirements.

According to an AVAS release, the investors interested in purchasing the 50.97 percent Hidromecanica stake are
  1. SIF Transilvania and
  2. Lucian Neculae Girbacea, who also participated to the previous privatization attempt, as well as
  3. Electroaparataj Bucharest and
  4. Contactoare Buzau
