BancPost president, Elena Petculescu, announced her retirement on Thursday after 14 years as head of the bank.
The new president will be Mihai Bogza, former vice-governor of the National Bank of Romania.

The new management is to be approved by the General Shareholders Assembly on April 20.

Petculescu ran BancPost since 1991 and was vice-president of the Romanian Banks Association for three years.
