PUR and the political morality...

Dan Voiculescu, the President of PUR has announced that his party is now in the ruling coalition only because Traian Basescu insisted and asked their support. He said that PUR will continue to support Nicolae Vacaroiu and Adrian Nastase for their leadership positions in Parliament.

It seems that Voiculescu also announced that he will propose tomorrow to the PUR’s leadership the withdrawal from the government team.

The statement comes after President Basescu considered that PUR's government membership is "immoral".

Both Tariceanu and Basescu consider the ‘early elections’ scenario a possible and viable solution for a future possible political crisis.
