POI opens office in Romania

Pharm-Olam International Ltd. (POI) announces the opening of its new office in Romania, Pharm-Olam International (U.K.) Ltd. – Representative Office for Romania, located in the heart of the capital city, Bucharest.

Pharm-Olam International appointed Ramona Nicolescu, MD, as director of clinical operations in Romania. In this position, Dr. Nicolescu is responsible for POI-Romania’s clinical operations and business development. Dr. Nicolescu brings several years of experience in clinical research both in the pharmaceuticals and CRO industries. She earned her medical degree from University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest.

With the addition of Romania, POI now has offices in 17 countries and has conducted studies in more than 40 countries.

Pharm-Olam International is a multi-national contract research organization offering a wide range of comprehensive, clinical research services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
