Logitech announced the release of the first Laser-Powered mouse. Basically, it is a major improvement in the tracking technology, from optic technology to laser technology.

Basically, the improvement consists in the laser mouse being 20 times more accurate than the optic mouse. It will work on metal surfaces, plain paper and plastic surfaces that usually cause major problems to an optical mouse. The only surfaces it won't work is transparent glass.

The mouse is said to cost almost 80 USD and can be found on logitech.com and various retailers.
