Renault's Moroccan subsidiary Somaca on Thursday launched the Logan assembled from components mostly imported from Romania.
Renault owns 54% of Somaca shares and invested 30 million euros in building the CKD (completely knocked down) assembly line in Casablanca.
Morocco is the third country where Logan is built. This factory has a capacity of 30,000 units a year and most of these are meant to be exported.
The vehicle will be sold under the Dacia brand through Renault's 26 dealer network in Morocco.
