Forte Company-Bucharest and its subsidiary, Filiala Comunicatii, are to be aquired by Siemens Aktiengesellschaft-Austria via Siemens Business Services GmbH and Kabel und Drahtwerke-Austria. It seems the Competition Council agreed on this aquisition.
Forte Company is a supplier of software and IT equipment. Siemens Business Services is entirely owned by Kabel, which is controlled by Siemens Aktiengesellschaft.
Siemens also controls Osram Romania - Bucharest, Siemens Motor Systems -Buzias, Siemens Electrical Installation Technology - Sibiu, Sykatec - Sibiu, Siemens - Bucharest, Siemens VDO Automotive - Timisoara, Wallace & TIernan - Bucharest, Siemens Program and System Engineering - Brasov, Siemens Proiect Spital Coltea - Bucharest and Siemens Business Services - Bucharest.
Siemens also holds 50 percent in Fujitsu Siemens Computers - Romania.
