UK-based international PR and public affairs firm Chelgate Limited has opened an office in Bucharest.
According to Terence Fane-Saunders, Chelgate chairman, the company’s client services in Romania will range from government relations and strategic public affairs to media relations and marketing support programs.
The Bucharest office is headed by Mirela Meita, who previously worked as a counselor in the Foreign Affairs Department of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies and as head of the office of the chancellery of the president.
Meita declined to name the company’s clients, saying it was Chelgate’s policy to keep a discreet profile about the companies they represent.
