16 American companies visiting Romania

About 16 American companies are visiting Romania these days in a commercial and investment mision. All of them are interested in various Romanian products and companies.

For example:

- Illyrian company is interested in the Ursus beer, to be exported to US.
- Cargill is interested in Romanian beef and pork.
- Sukup company is interested in exporting to Romania industrial equipment for cereal care and steel silos.

The American companies are attracted by the Romanian economic growth and a healthier business environment, but also by a low-priced workforce and quite a large market (22 milion population).

Among the cons are lack of transparency, bureaucracy, bad infrastructre and a poor legislation.
