Enterprise Applications in Romania

The Enterprise Applications Suite market in Romania - that is mainly business software applications - will grow by 24% this year.

The value of the market was 35.4 milion dollars in 2004 (26% growth from 2003).

The main players on this market are Siveco, SAP and Oracle, which count (together) form about 60% of the market. Their rankings are:

1. SAP - 24%
2. Siveco - 18.7%
3. Oracle - 17.4%

The public sector counted for most of the spending in this industry, followed by the retail industry.
