The value of transactions carried out through remote access payment instruments and their numbers doubled in comparison with the same period of 2004, along with the number of users, Minister of Communications and Information Technology ((MCTI) Zsolt Nagy stated Tuesday.
He said the number of users for this type of instruments was approximately 56,000, most of them companies.
The value of transactions made through e-banking systems reached 12.6 billion euros.
According to Nagy, there are currently 33 remote access payment instruments being offered by 24 banks.
