Roumanian couple name their baby YAHOO

Now this is not related to business, but I was stuned to find it out.

Seems that search and the web have really entered Romania as well...A Romanian couple has named their son Yahoo as a sign of gratitude for meeting over the Internet.

Cornelia and Nonu Dragoman, both from Transylvania, met and decided they were meant for each other following a three-month relationship over the net. It must have been through Yahoo's dating service, otherwise they probably would have named him mIRC, ICQ or Dolce :).

"We named him Lucian Yahoo after my father and the net, the main beacon of my life," Cornelia Dragoman was quoted as saying.

I wonder if him and Google will be friends in school and if he will mary Altavista in the end.
