Reuters just published some excerpts of an
interview with Romania's Prime Minister, Mr. Calin Popescu Tariceanu.
In the interview, Mr. Tariceanu discusses about early elections, joining the EU, the flat tax rate, international issues and more.
Some interesting point of views are:
"We will probably have to examine the possibility of organising early elections after 2007 when Romania will become (a European Union) member. But not before 2007."
"The budget deficit will probably be kept between 1.0 and 1.5 percent. This is the target."
"We need a strong and independent media."
