Petrom shareholders yesterday elected a new board of directors.
Petrom's new board of directors consists of four OMV members, two Romanian government representatives and one member of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The newly elected board replaces the interim directors who resigned today and were released from their duties by the general meeting of shareholders.
The newly appointed board of directors consists of seven members:
- four of which are the OMV Executive Board: Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, Gerhard Roiss, David C. Davies, Helmut Langanger.
- the two Board members appointed by the Romanian Government are Dorin Mucea and Sebastian Vladescu.
- one member, jointly nominated by EBRD and the Romanian government, will be Mariana Gheorge.
OMV's CEO Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer will act as President of the Board of Directors.
The Managing Committee of Petrom has already been appointed by the Interim Directors and will remain unchanged.
