The former president of the Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS) Mircea Ursache was yesterday removed from his executive position in the privatization institution.
His replacement is Gabriel Zbircea, former state counselor of Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu.
Zbircea, 32, previously acted as jurist and state counselor for Tariceanu after the new government was installed last December.
Prior to this Zbircea worked for the law firm Musat & Associates.
The new AVAS chairman is not a member of any political party. (F.C.)
