Romania said Monday it would send an extra 100 troops to Iraq to help security in the run up to January's elections.
Romania already has 730 troops in Iraq, the ninth largest deployment among the 29 countries which are currently members of the U.S. led coalition and have troops on the ground in the country.
This is quite something for G. Bush, as Romania remains one of the few countries that stick to his view on Iraq. Poland, for example, which has about 2.400 troups, has announced it intends to cut this number.
